TOPSHOP is opening a store on our beloved Fifth Avenue!!
It's a 40,000 sq-foot Manhattan space, the brand's second biggest
flagship, is situated adjacent to the famous Rockefeller Centre, and
will carry both the Topshop and Topman brands.
"In addition to our flagship stores expansion, we are continually
developing our topshop.com and topman.com $ sites, and our on-going
partnership with Nordstrom continues to develop," Sir Phillip Green
said. "I am very excited about Fifth Avenue, having looked for a
location there for many years, and I believe this corner is both
hugely prominent and perfectly located for our brands. I am also
delighted to be entering new markets for the first time in the other
great cities." - Green told the British Vogue.
They got 80 key sites for the two brands during the past 12 months,
and will open 15 more stores in 8 countries over the next year,

The rumors are that the new store is as cool as the Parisian one! Blonde wood, pale marble, cosy rugs and plump cushions and sales assistants as chic as the interiors.
The store is located on London's Bruton Street, is snuggled neatly beside Stella McCartney and Kenzo, not far from Matthew Williamson and Maison Martin Margiela.
Busy weekend for Isabel FOR SURE, so if you're in London check it out.
Lacroix is coming back to the fashion world! That's great, but the best part is: his collection will be awesome and affordable. He teamed up with Petit Bateau to create a "capsule collection", to mothers and daughters alike. From December 6, the range will be available at the Petit Bateau and the Opéra Garnier Boutique in Paris. Christian left his label back in 2010, what made him busy with all sorts of projects, from designing exhibitions hotels to stage costumes. Welcome back to what you do best Christian!
Designers and the fashion industry have always followed a pattern, but that is about to change! The french designer Julien Fournie talked to BBC about the latest software he has been using, the FashionLab. He has been able to test designs virtually, with a 3D interface.
That sounds awesome! Way easier than choosing a model, make her come to your office, try on all the outfits.
Not only the fashion designers are trying to find new ways to launch their collections but a young company is experimenting with the way we choose clothes at the Imperial College London's business incubator lab. "Jeffrey Ng Sing Kwong of Cortexica, explained how his team have used research into the way the brain processes visual information by the Bioengineering department, to build a fashion platform. Its software algorithms look at fashion images to find similar items, second-guessing an individual's taste in clothes", according to BBC.
