On September 10, just 350 will be watching the designer's new showroom, for his spring/summer 2014 collection.

Oscar said "megashows lose the reason of why we're showing. It's important for [certain industry professionals] to look at the clothes and see them. They shouldn't have to go through 30,000 people, and 10,000 who are trying to take pictures of all those people who are totally unrelated to the clothes. I feel [its] the most manageable way and the most civilized way. Why have 20 million people with zero connection to the clothes?" - also not forgetting that we can all watch it online afterward.

We're all sad, but he has a really good point, so we'll envy the lucky 350 that get an invitation

Ciao

It was definetely an interesting night on August 25th. Crazy outfits, a lot of skin showing, funny faces and weird performances.

We had Miley Cyrus awkward sense of cool, Katy Perry flashing a grill?

It's their night, if they had a good time, it's all that matters.

Jumping for best dressed, we had Taylor Swift wearing a Herve Legger floor-lenght gown, Selena Gomez wearing a single-breasted Versace gown and where there are rockstars, there are hot models, my favorite model Coco Rocha wearing a simple Fausto Puglisi leather jacket and skinny pants.

It was announced that a new crew will be joining the Swatovski Team this season, Alexis Mabille, Sister by Sibling and Michael van der Ham!

The brand chose them for their "cutting edge talent and ability to demonstrate exquisite craftsmanship with crystal". Michael shared his thoughts with Vogue UK - "It is a huge honor to be part of the Swarovski Collective especially considering the heritage; with designers such as Elsa Schiaparelli and Cristian Dior having collaborated with Swarovski in the past".

Swarovski initiative aims to support emerging and established designers in their creations. Each of them receives a financial support and a free reign to experiment the crystals.

We'll be having new ideas coming soon, i can't wait!

      Au Revoir!

The prints are inspired by Damien's Entomology paintings - what made them team up? Their mutual passion for symmetrical designs and dark nature.

Valentino has opened two stores in Las Vegas: a 750-square-foot accessories-only location in The Forum Shops at Caesar’s — the first of its kind in the U.S. and the second worldwide — and a 3,000-square-foot location in The Shops at Crystals with Valentino’s full merchandise repertoire (photo above).

David Chipperfield designed the stores concept, along with Valentino creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli. Both stores feature a series of rooms connected by Venetian terrazzo framing the walls, floors and various openings. Other design elements include black-and-white window pane flooring, molded gypsum curtains, layered mirror glass walls, leather furniture and carbon fiber poles.

Later this year, units in Aspen and San Francisco will be opened, where the customers will have access to the men’s collection through a separate entrance.
