Valentino has opened two stores in Las Vegas: a 750-square-foot accessories-only location in The Forum Shops at Caesar’s — the first of its kind in the U.S. and the second worldwide — and a 3,000-square-foot location in The Shops at Crystals with Valentino’s full merchandise repertoire (photo above).
David Chipperfield designed the stores concept, along with Valentino creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli. Both stores feature a series of rooms connected by Venetian terrazzo framing the walls, floors and various openings. Other design elements include black-and-white window pane flooring, molded gypsum curtains, layered mirror glass walls, leather furniture and carbon fiber poles.
Later this year, units in Aspen and San Francisco will be opened, where the customers will have access to the men’s collection through a separate entrance.
